1. Fındıklı-Çağlayan Valley-Çağlayan-Gürcüdüzü (22 km)

A forest road with a gentle incline from sea level up to 700 meters alongside a stream. The route surprises with mansions and historic stone arch bridges.

2. Fındıklı-Beydere-Yenişehitlik-Ihlamurlu-Fındıklı (30 km)

Starting from sea level, the route ascends to 739 meters with dirt and asphalt roads and steep ramps.

3. Fındıklı-Arılı-Yaylacılar-Siprona Highland Route-Işıklı (43 km)

Starting at sea level, this route climbs to 990 meters and descends back to sea level. The Arılı-Yaylacılar section consists of dirt roads.

4. Fındıklı-Arılı-Yaylacılar-Siprona Highland Route-Tunca-Ardeşen (54 km)

Following the same path as route 3 until Siprona highland, the highest point of this route is 1120 meters. The Yaylacılar-Tunca part is a dirt road, the rest is concrete asphalt.

5. Ardeşen-Çamlıhemşin-Ayder-Yukarı Kavron Highland (49 km)

This route, within the boundaries of Kaçkar Mountains National Park, ascends from sea level to 2260 meters. The Ayder-Yukarı Kavron Highland section is a dirt road.

6. Çamlıhemşin-Aşağı Çamlıca-Kanlıboğaz-Uğrak-Boğaziçi-Hor Boğazı-Akyamaç-Hemşin (24 km)

Starting at 310 meters in Çamlıhemşin and ending at 330 meters in Hemşin, this route has steep slopes. The highest point is Kanlıboğaz at 835 meters. A significant descent leads to Hor Boğazı at 810 meters, almost reaching Hemşin effortlessly. The Aşağı Çamlıca-Akyamaç part is dirt road, the rest is asphalt.

7. Çamlıhemşin-Şenyuva-Üsküt Mountain-Ortaköy-Hemşin (26 km)

This route involves a climb of approximately 900 meters between Şenyuva and Ortaköy, and the section between them is a dirt road.

8. Çamlıhemşin-Aşağı Çamlıca-Kanlıboğaz-Uğrak-Akbucak-Pazar (33 km)

The highest point of this route is Kanlıboğaz at 835 meters. After this, it descends relatively flat. The Aşağı Çamlıca-Akbucak part is dirt road.

9. Çamlıhemşin-Aşağı Çamlıca-Kanlıboğaz-Uğrak-Yücehisar-Suçatı-Derinsu-Lumporino Boğazı-Zafer Köyü-Erenler-Sefalı-Aşıklar-Çayeli (46 km)

Following an ancient trade route, this route passes through a scenic area. Kanlıboğaz (835 m) and Lumporino (514 m) are the highest points. The Aşağı Çamlıca-Yücehisar and Derinsu-Zafer sections are dirt roads.

10. Çamlıhemşin-Zilkale-Meydanköy-Kantarlı-Hemşin (54 km)

Mostly traversing through forest paths, this relatively easy route ascends gently to Meydanköy and reaches a height of 1745 meters at the Kito-Hemşin intersection. The following part is a continuous descent.

11. Çamlıhemşin-Zilkale-Çat-Elevit Highland-Tirovit Highland-Palovit Highland-Amlakit Highland-Palovit Waterfall-Çamlıhemşin (88 km)

Potentially requiring a two-day stay, this route climbs from 310 meters to 2750 meters. The Çat-Palovit Waterfall section is a dirt road, while after Amlakit Highland, a muddy road leads to the waterfall.

12. Çamlıhemşin-Zilkale-Çat-Ortayayla-Baltaş Pass-Şemkavut Highland-Eğnaçor Highland-Yediçukur Highland-Sudüşen Waterfall-Eğvane (Hostaval) Waterfall-Ilıcaköy-İkizdere (102 km)

A challenging route for confident riders, featuring two long ramps at 3000 and 2950 meters. The Çat-Ilıcaköy section is a dirt road.

13. Çamlıhemşin-Zilkale-Çat-Ortayayla-Baltaş Pass-Şemkavut Highland-Eğnaçor Highland-Çağırankaya Highland-İkizdere (104 km)

A variation of route 12, diverting from Eğnaçor Highland to Çağırankaya Highland towards İkizdere.

14. Çamlıhemşin-Zilkale-Çat-Ortayayla-Baltaş Pass-Şemkavut Highland-Eğnaçor Highland-Çağırankaya Highland-Çürükbel-Handüzü Highland-Güneysu-Rize (106 km)

A variation of routes 12 and 13, offering a two-day activity, ending in Rize. The Handüzü-Güneysu section has asphalt and sharp curves.

15. Çamlıhemşin-Zilkale-Çat-Ortayayla-Baltaş Pass-Şemkavut Highland-Eğnaçor Highland-Çağırankaya Highland-Çürükbel-Handüzü Highland-Andon Springs-Salarha Valley-Rize (109 km)

Following the same path as route 14 until Handüzü Highland. The Çat-Andon Springs section is a dirt road.

16. **Hemşin-Akyamaç-Hor Boğazı-Boğaziçi-Yücehisar-Pazar (29 km)**

Another bicycle route through mountains and valleys, using ancient migration paths. The highest point is Hor Boğazı at 804 meters, followed by a descent to the sea. The Akyamaç Tecina Bridge-Yücehisar section is a dirt road, and the rest is asphalt.

17. Hemşin-Kantarlı-Yeşiltepe-Kaptanpaşa-Çataldere-Çürükbel-Handüzü Highland-Güneysu (80 km)

With two ramps reaching heights of 1170 and 2150 meters, this route follows a dirt road from Kantarlı to  Handüzü.

18. Çayeli-Aşıklar Valley-Sefalı-Melyat Valley-Merdivenli-Çayeli (21 km)

This route traverses Melyat and Aşıklar valleys, starting from the seaside and climbing to around 400 meters before descending again. Except for those averse to uphill riding, this route is mostly asphalt.

19. Çayeli-Aşıklar Valley-Sefalı-Erenler-Demirciler-Leventköy-Taşköprü-Hemşin (21 km)

Proceeding from the sea level, this route ascends to Çiloko Pass at 396 meters, then to Çoço Peak at 657 meters. The final part is a downhill stretch to Hemşin at 320 meters.

20. Çayeli-Şairler Valley-Ağaran Waterfall-Çayeli (24 km)

Starting from Çayeli town, this route through Şairler Valley offers a delightful journey among historical and natural beauty. After reaching Ağaran Waterfall, it takes a different route through dirt roads until Sırt Village.

21. Çayeli-Büyükköy-Selamet-Güneysu-Rize (30 km)

Tracing Raşot Valley down to Güneysu, this route is relatively easy for everyone. Starting and ending at sea level, it reaches a maximum height of 530 meters.

22. Çayeli-Kaptanpaşa-Uzundere-Zargistal Highland-Kito Highland-Meydanköy-Zilkale-Çamlıhemşin (87 km)

Suitable for those with good endurance, this route ascends from sea level to 2454 meters. The descent from Uzundere to Meydanköy provides a comfortable ride. The Uzundere-Meydanköy section is a dirt road.

23. Çayeli-Kaptanpaşa-Çataldere-İncesu-Eğnaçor Highland-Çirmaniman Highland-Karos Highland-Çataldere-Kaptanpaşa-Çayeli (89 km)

Starting and ending in Çayeli, this circular route reaches its highest point at 2915 meters. It can be planned as a two-day trip with an overnight stay at Çirmaniman Highland. The Çataldere-İncesu-Eğnaçor-Karos-Çataldere section is dirt road.

24. Çayeli-Kaptanpaşa-Çataldere-İncesu-Eğnaçor Highland-Çirmaniman Highland-Çağırankaya Highland-Çürükbel-Handüzü Highland-Andon Springs (95 km)

Another two-day cycling route. The camping area could be Çirmaniman Highland. Starting from the seaside, the route climbs up to 2915 meters at Çataldere-Andon Springs, which is a dirt road.

25. Çayeli-Kaptanpaşa-Çataldere-İncesu-Eğnaçor Highland-Çirmaniman Highland-Çağırankaya Highland-Çürükbel-Handüzü Highland-Güneysu (99 km)

Following the same path as route 24 until Handüzü Highland, this route’s section from Çataldere to Handüzü is a dirt road.

26. İkizdere-Ilıcaköy-Çağırankaya-Çürükbel-Çataldere-Kaptanpaşa-Çayeli (70 km)

A route with an approximately 2-kilometer ramp that descends from Çağırankaya Highland. The Ilıcaköy-Çataldere section is a dirt road.

27. İkizdere-Ilıcaköy-Çağırankaya-Eğnaçor Highland-İncesu-Çataldere-Kaptanpaşa-Çayeli (92 km)**

Similar to route 26 but deviates from Çağırankaya, ascending from 530 meters to 915 meters before descending to the seaside. The Ilıcaköy-Çataldere section is a dirt road.

28. İkizdere-Demirkapı-Homeze Highland-Vaşa Highland-Çamlıkköy-Sivrikaya-Legis Highland-Gölyayla-Anzer Road-Dereköy-İkizdere (84 km)

A scenic route overlooking İkizdere and Cimil valleys, climbing from 530 meters to 2656 meters, then descending to 1623 meters and rising again to 2780 meters. Sivrikaya serves as accommodation for a two-day activity. The Demirkapı-Vaşa-Çamlıkköy and Sivrikaya-Gölyayla sections are dirt roads.

29. İkizdere-Ridos Thermal Springs-Eğvane (Hostaval) Waterfall-Sudüşen Waterfall-Yediçukur Highland-Çağırankaya Highland-Çürükbel-Handüzü Highland-Güneysu (64 km)

Passing through some of İkizdere’s beautiful waterfalls, this route ascends from 500 meters to 2400 meters. The Ridos-Handüzü Highland section is a dirt road, and the rest is asphalt.

30. İkizdere Kamanındibi Location-Meşeköy (Petran)-Kaban Highland-Garzavan Highland-Çifteköprü-Kamanındibi Location (34 km)

A short but highly satisfying route in terms of scenery, initially climbing to Meşeköy with sharp curves. Starting at 1630 meters, the highest point of the route is 2607 meters. The entire route is a dirt road.

31. Rize Center-Coastal Road-City Stadium-Güneysu-Katarahte Waterfall (16 km)

A pleasant alternative for weekend activities for those living in Rize center, ascending gently to 270 meters.

32. Rize Center-Coastal Road-City Stadium-Şahintepesi-Dağmaran-Ziraat Parkı-Rize Center (21 km)

Recommended for those wanting an aerial view of the city, this route serves as a general city tour. The only challenge is a short 350-meter ramp. The entire route is asphalt.

33. Andon Springs-Muradiye-Köprülü Village-Dağmaran-Ziraat Parkı-Rize Center (26 km)

For those seeking an escape from the city’s noise, after resting at Andon Springs facilities, a few hours of cycling brings you back to the center. The most challenging part is the 400-meter ascent from Köprülü village to Dağmaran.

34. Rize Center-Çayeli-Pazar-Ardeşen-Fındıklı (Coastal Road) (65 km)

A bicycle pleasure ride on a flat asphalt road surrounded by the blue sea on one side and lush greenery on the other. The only disadvantage is following the Black Sea highway.

35. Rize Center-Old Kalkandere Road-Kalkandere-İyidere-Rize Center (74 km)

Almost entirely asphalt, passing through villages to reach Kalkandere first. After a tea break, connecting to İkizdere-Rize asphalt and returning to Rize via the coastal road. The highest point is 428 meters.

36. Uzungöl-Arpaözü-Eskice-Kamanındibi-Dereköy-İkizdere (69 km)

Starting from Trabzon’s tourism center, Uzungöl, this route passes through high plateaus and stunning scenic roads to reach Rize’s İkizdere district. Starting at 1116 meters and reaching 2738 meters above sea level, then descending to the sea. The Arpaözü-Eskice section is a dirt road.

37. Uzungöl-Haldizen (Demirkapı) Highland-Kürdün Yurdu Highland-Anzer-Dereköy-İkizdere (70 km)**

Starting from the same point as Route 36, this route takes the right road at the Arpaözü intersection and reaches Anzer Highland via Haldizen Highland. The highest point of this route, which merges with Route 36 at Kamanındibi location, is a 2904-meter peak marking the Trabzon-Rize border. The ascent from Uzungöl-Haldizen to the summit is followed by a continuous descent.

38. Çamlıhemşin-Çat-Elevit-Tirovit-Palovit-Samistal-Aşağı Kavron-Ayder-Çamlıhemşin (72 km)**

A high difficulty level route recommended for professional mountain bikers, with the Samistal-Aşağı Kavron section traversing on trails. The highest two points of the route reach close to 3000 meters.

39. Ayder-Yukarı Kavron-Adsız Göl-Karadeniz Gölü-Naletleme Pass-Döbedüzü-Olgunlar Highlands-Yusufeli (81 km)**

A challenging route recommended for professional mountain bikers, demanding performance due to carrying the bike in some areas or pedaling on trails. Note that the Yukarı Kavron-Olgunlar section is on trail paths. The Naletleme Pass is positioned at 3200 meters. This can be considered as a two-day activity.

40. Uzungöl-Haldizen Highland-Kürdün Yurdu Highland-Anzer-Dereköy-İkizdere-Çağırankaya Highland-Eğnaçor Highland-Şemkavut Highland-Baltaş Pass-Ortayayla-Çat-Zilkale-Çamlıhemşin-Ayder Highland (174 km)**

A combination of Routes 13 and 37, designed as a two or three-day bicycle activity. To reach the highest points of the route, three exhausting ascents up to 3000 meters are required. Anzer and Çağırankaya settlements are suitable for accommodation.

41. Anzer Highland-Dereköy-İkizdere-Ilıcaköy-Çağırankaya Highland-Eğnaçor Highland-Şemkavut Highland-Baltaş Pass-Ortayayla-Çat-Zilkale-Çamlıhemşin-Topluca Village-İsina Gorge-Marselavat-Komati Highland-Eğrisu Highland-Golezana Highland-Sırt Highland-Deremezra-Tunca-Güney-Siprona Road-Yaylacılar-Gürsu-Fındıklı (191 km)**
Covering all of Rize from west to east, this bicycle route can be considered as a 4 or 5-day activity. Accommodation points include Çağırankaya, Çamlıhemşin, Golezana, and Tunca. As the Didingola-Golezana road is still under construction, you’ll need to carry your bike from Eğrisu Highland to Golezana Highland. The Kamanındibi-Ilıcaköy, Çat-Topluca, Eskiarmutluk-Tunca, and Gürsu-Fındıklı sections of the route are asphalt, while the rest is dirt road.
