Photo safari trips, which are of great interest to photography enthusiasts, have become a widespread activity across the country in recent years. The geographical conditions of our country allow different seasons with varying characteristics to occur in each region. This visual richness implies extraordinary details and marvelous shots for photographers. Especially spring and autumn seasons are times when photography enthusiasts flock to different regions.
Undoubtedly, among these regions, the most colorful and memorable is the Black Sea region. The diversity in Rize, reflecting the typical features of the Black Sea, is rarely found in other areas. Places here often resemble a natural open-air studio, sometimes damp and foggy, occasionally illuminated by exceptionally clear sunlight. The blue of the sky illuminating the lush plateaus and valleys through torn clouds, being situated above a vast sea of clouds extending to the horizon, majestic rocky mountains reflected in the waters of the lake, snow-capped peaks reaching skywards, waterfalls cascading over rivers at an infinite speed, the color harmony of autumn in the forests, myriad flowers in alpine meadows, mushrooms growing in areas untouched by sunlight, and the highland areas with traditional houses—all these are just a fraction of this rich material. The valleys of Çağlayan, Tunca, Fırtına, Senoz, Cimil, and İkizdere, along with the Kaçkar Mountains National Park, are the most important areas for photo safaris.
